Elver was founded by Nick Fellingham and Andy Littledale, who have worked together since 2011 across three companies: a Bristol startup acquired by Twitter, a deep-tech video company that broadcast with the BBC, and this one. The through-line has never changed, taking research-grade machine learning and making it hold up in production, in front of audiences that notice when it doesn't.
Elver is based in Bristol, UK, works worldwide, and is built deliberately small: founders on every engagement, a growing engineering team, and a delivery platform that lets that team ship like one many times its size.

AI specialist with deep expertise in large language models and generative systems. Previously CEO and co-founder of Condense, the VC-backed volumetric-video company whose real-time 3D broadcasts with the BBC put live performers inside virtual worlds.
Before that: engineering at Twitter, and a decade of applied machine learning that began at SecondSync, where his models matched millions of tweets to the television programmes they were about, live, as broadcasts aired. He writes about where software is going, the essays are the company's thinking in public.
Andy Littledale

Co-founded SecondSync, the social-TV analytics company acquired by Twitter in 2014, then led audience-analytics products at Twitter and managed its audience-measurement partnerships, building relationships across the research industry that Elver works with today.
Founded Poli, a micro-polling startup rethinking how public opinion is measured. Honorary Professor at the University of Bristol, where he lectures on innovation and entrepreneurship.
